Mobile-photoblogging - didn’t bring any recording equipment so hp-cam will do. Sony Ericsson K530
Three years in a row for us, but we still left with smiles on our face, stiff necks and sore throat. This time was the most casual gig ever - relative to how big Metallica is. 3-things that kept me anxiously waiting for this gig - one - the guilt of leaving Aiden behind (he was fine anyway), two - visual quality of outdoor standing gig (turns out a lot better that RDS 2-yrs ago, Marlay Park was perfect, big enough to spread the crowd wide) and three - rainy weather (was perfect, no rain & perfect temp.) All-in-all (does this phrase exist?), I rank this gig 2nd best after last year Wembley Sick of Studio Tour - all-out performance, good quality videography, fireworks & flames etc. & great set list
6.45pm left home, 7.30pm left Aiden at Ucop’s after stopping at Centra Clonskeagh to buy a pass-due milk (damn you Centra!), refill 20euro petrol, 7.55pm got in for Tenacious D last 2 songs - went for shirt shopping - 830-ishpm - ecstasy of bla bla bla + gig - 1110 ends - 1215 in bed
0. Ecstasy of Gold - always does the job
——————————————–
1. Creeping Death - perfect start
2. For Whom The Bell Tolls - non-stop metal from RTL album, couldn’t ask for more (this was the song that caught me back in school, was a fan since)
3. Ride The Lightening - now 3 in a row - necks warmed up
4. The Memory Remains - hmm
5. Sanitarium - no words
6. Cyanide - hmm.. into was promising esp the bass, catchy, but kinda did too much along the way
7. …And Justice For All - puas hati nye lagu panjang..
8. The Four Horsemen - heavy metal well-defined, head banging & air guitar to the max now
9. Fade To Black - Masni’s favourite
10. Master Of Puppets - one of the finest & earliest
11. Whiskey In the Jar - mandatory for the Irish
12. Nothing Else Matter - perfect time for another shirt shopping
13. Sad But True - just sing along
14. One - fireworks were really loud
15. Enter Sandman - yea okay - plus ‘Thank you good night gimmick’ - some people actually leaving
16. Last Caress - don’t know the lyrics to this one
17. So What - singing along to the vulgar bits
17. Seek & Destroy - perfect ending
Note: Youtube links aren’t mine

Dug out few multiple exposure shots from that night. Don’t know whether to like or hate this photo.

D80 + 18-135mm f3.5-5.6 & 50mm f1.8

1st unofficial Phygrphy outing [Fly, Aliff, Rufi, Torot, & Myself], have to admit it was harder than I thought. Out of 200+ shots, very few were shortlisted for editing.. most of em suffers from rookie mistakes.. priceless learning experience indeed.
Gambar Liffey Red tu sebenarnya penuh dengan noise.. sebab tertinggal ISO 800.. hehe.. tula one of ‘rookie mistakes’ nya.. mungkin boleh buat lagi..
9pm rendez-vous a 11 Ivy - 9.15pm Moore St & Henry St - 9.45pm Temple Bar - 11pm O’connell Bridge/St - 12am head home.. 12.17pm tapis, tapis dan tapissss..
Boleh buat selalu!..
